About this creation
Island of Seclusion
To protect her, the King had a “small” sturdy castle built on an island in the middle of a lake. He placed the Princess there with a small faction of highly trained soldiers to protect her. As she came of age, the candidates for her husband were carefully scrutinized. The selected Prince along with the two men allowed to accompany him arrived. Their weapons and one of the men as directed remained in the single boat allowed to dock at the castle. Will he be successful in capturing her heart?

Welcome to the Island. Notice only a tiny bit of the lake is shown, do you really need to see nothing but boring water?

It was built in a truly mathematical style, three interlocking squares, with doors set at 45 degree angles at corners.

Here we have the Prince's attendant doing as he was instructed, stay in the boat with the few weapons allowed on their journey. Also we find two of the Princess's highly trained soldiers on guard making sure only this boat ever docks.

The castle was built with tan modeled after a tan-yellow brick I remember from one of my trips to England. The brown accents pull it all together into a simple, yet interesting and obviously female castle.

Being built on an island, the wildlife must reflect the water. You will find ducks, a snake, turtles, a couple of frogs and a playful kitten with delusions of granduer.

And now for the romance, or attempt at it. The Prince arrives with a bouquet of pink and a beautiful ruby, hoping that they along with his manners and innocent kiss will open her heart.

As you can tell, I have a large amount of tan 2 x 4's. And this did not include all of them.

No back doors allowed. Sneak attacks can not be allowed when you are protecting the Princess.

Do you know how many brown heads are in this castle? 118 And I still have more unused.

While apparently there is a weak point above the main doors, keep in mind this castle exists on an island in the middle of a lake. Built with the specific purpose of keeping the Princess save from harm. Any projectile will have to have come off a boat.

Too mathematical? Maybe for some, but not near enough for me.

Even the stone work shows this is a female's castle.

Nothing like a kitten that dreams big. Wonder if he even thought about what he would do if he did succeed at catching a ducky twice his size?

Think she has enough guards keeping her safe from an unarmed Prince? Notice, the doors on the towers are also set on a 45 degree angle.

Ducks = Awesome. Well, it all is...especially the use of the now-prolific brown bonus-box heads. |
