The Invisible Man
Nonsense, there's no such thing as "too dark"!
About this creation
Part Two of a possible Lego H.G. Wells trilogy.

NOTE: This thing gave me so much trouble, lighting-wise. It's MOCs like these that make me wish I could curse on this site.

“Although the fire was burning up briskly, she was surprised to see that her visitor still wore his hat and coat, standing with his back to her and staring out of the window at the falling snow in the yard. His gloved hands were clasped behind him, and he seemed to be lost in thought.”

Behind the scenes:

Alternate angle.
The unglorious setup.
Same scene with the lights on.
Overhead view.

Thanks for your time.

Next up, "The War of the Worlds"

NOTE: According to Shannon Young, I can swear on this page. Fuckin' A.

Great MOC, I'm still a bit unsure as to why he has bay windows in his ceiling (great technique, doesn't work so well if you think it out logically), and there could be more pictures. I can't wait for War of the Worlds - one of my favourite books!

Great work with the lights. To light a MOC properly is truly an art, and you're very good for that !

A quote from this site's own commenting guidelines: "MOCpages only censors the comments you make to others... But you're free to write whatever you want on your pages. Why? Because free speech is the right to stand in your house and say what you want. It's not the right to go over someone else's house and act rude and vulgar... For that, you can be expected to ask to leave." So if you feel the need on your own page, let the profanity fly!

Pretty cool, but it would have been better if you wrapped a white lego, or no-lego rubber band around a white head and stuck a pair of lego goggles in the rubber band yo make a cool effect.

I've always been a fan of H.G Wells. Made great movies and wrote great books. Can't wait fro War of the Worlds. Your actual MOC looks very well built (sturdy) as well as detailed. Good day

Great demonstration of technique! I really enjoyed seeing how the set was put together and how you lit it. The end result is so much more impressive than the "lights on" version because it brings the drama to the scene perfectly. I love seeing your work! Can't wait for the next post!

Brilliant photos (as usual!). The lighting would be phenomenal for film noir subjects, or ghost stories. I may have to give this kind of effect a try some time. Nicely done!

I'm surprised this hasn't had any reviews or ratings! This MOC is amazing! Great job on the lighting, that tedious work really paid off!
