This is a 4 sided version of the popular Cafe Corner set, modified for life on the moon. Includes reinforced windows, an enclosed dining area, air lock entryways, and a landing pad on the roof.
About this creation

In 2007 NELUG was preparing to do an event in Middlebury, VT called Brick Blast. One of the displays we decided to do was a moonbase, and members were asked to create something for this display. I was looking at a Cafe Corner at the local LEGO Store and the idea of doing a moonbase version of the model just popped into my head. In order to make it a moonbase I realized I needed to make it 4 sided, so I needed 2 of the sets to build the moonbase version. The last picture is of the MOC on display at Brick Blast.

Excellent set mod! You kept the original feel intact completely, down to the spaceman with the push broom in front! Now bring us the entire street scene in moonbase....

While no doubt an expensive MOC, it's certainly brilliant nonetheless. A great idea-well done.

Awesome! Even if it is a modified set, it's still sweet! I like the enclosed dining area. Truly, the cafe corner for the future.
