The RA's primary transport/assault vehicle.
About this creation
Well, here it is, my new combat vehicle, the AHMCAV, or Armoured High Mobility Combat Assault Vehicle. The AHMCAV is built by General Motors and Chevrolet, with composite armour from Boeing (developed as a possibility for aircraft skins). The first AHMCAV entered service in 2027, before the split. The vehicle served extensively along with the older HMMWV (Humvee) on both sides during the conflict, and is currently in RA service overseas in Asia.

Front view. On top are smoke-grenade launchers (binoculars), floodlights, a VHF/CB radio antenna, and a 30mm wire controlled machine gun. My favorite... There's a saddle bag (minus the saddle :-) on each side for easy-access supplies, and a net hooked onto the right for camo. In case you're trying to hide on a white background with black squares on it. I need to get ahold of some camo net.

Side view. Yes, there's supposed to be doors. I'm just too lazy and out-of-pieces to have them done...someday. I like the way the wheel wells turned out, as well as the space between. The design was Aleksander Stein's latest model of the CCAV, which I encourage you to check out on Flickr. Mine's not that cool, but he has more pieces too...

In the absence of seat-belt laws, the AHMCAV can seat up to eight, or when done correctly, can stand even more. The official limit is six, driver included.
Note to Harry with the bazooka there: Always keep pointed out tailgate and away from all personell. Provided you like the personell...

Picture taken from an MH-6 Little Bird... Shows off the 30mm a little better. I like how the gun turned out. It's a direct rip-off from the 30mm on the CCAV... Most of this is a rip-off of the CCAV. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...

The underside. As Jeffery Smith noted, it looks cool, and it makes it susceptable to AT mines...sigh... It is actually encased in a circular armor plate of the same composite armor found on the rest. The AHMCAV has improved survivability as compared to the HMMWV, but several have still been lost to mines and IEDs. Thankfully, the unique design of the chassis focuses the force of the explosion out, often decimating the engine and warping the tires, but saving the passengers. Few AHMCAV crews have been lost.

Thanks for coming! More pictures can be found on my Flickr.

Cool armored vehicle. Looks tough to take out except for the exposed driveshaft(which looks good). Can't wait till it has doors.

Hello Michael, your vehicle looks good and very heavy duty (besides the spots where one would expect some doors - on the other hand this makes me think of a desert vehicle or so, which I like, too). I especially like the front view, as well as the little platform, kind of like pick-up trucks have one... And the gun on top looks awesome. Cool! Steffen

Not bad, I like the SNOT nose (hehe). The railing above the rear wheels is a nice touch aswell. Have a look at my Medium Strike vehicle if you get the chance. Peace - Patrick

ITS FINALLY HERE!!!!! I love this vehicle of yours. My favorite part is the driveshaft becasue 1.) it adds detail 2.) It makes it vulnerable to MU AT mines. Great job!!!!
