The German Flying Wing from Raiders of the Lost Ark. This plane never actually existed but was invented by Steven Spielberg for the movie. I used both types of dark grey due to parts availability and because I think that it gives it a more realistic and weathered look.

The plane did exsist, but it was more of a prototype. I should know, my dad know a million things about the army.
Good moc anyway. |

Even though I donīt know the movie, this plane looks quite amazing!!! You gave such an interesting structure to it (a studless central body, but wings with studs) - thatīs awesome. I must admit that Iīm a big fan of the flying wing concpt in general. For instance, I love the experimental plane "Northrop YB-49", even though it was very unstable and had bad caracteristics, crashs etc... Great job! Steffen |

I remember that scene... BLEAHH. Disgusting, the propeller hit the guy, he exploded, and all his blood went on the windsheild od where Marion was sitting. Very Creative though!

Your Flying Wing is quite cool. I built the same thing a few monthts ago but I wasn't happy with the end result, as I couldn't get rid of all the studs (if you look at my stuff, you will notice, how much I hate visible studs on my models).
A little tip: The Jedi fighter canopy worked really well on my model, especially together with the transparent radar dish you used in the front... this might be a good improvement.
But still: it's a great MOC! |

Ok, sorry. It isn't an actual concept and was soley designed for the movie. Though it does bear a striking resemblence to the Arado ar E.555-1. Sorry again, carry on. Peace - Patrick |

Very cool. Are we sure its not real though? I mean, the Germans did extensive research in flying wing concepts. If not actualy built, was this perhaps an actual concept? Sorry, got away from the moc. It looks great and I love that scene! Keep it up. Peace - Patrick |

This is perfect. And I'm picky. Even the canopy opens to the side like it should. Great attention to detail! |
