a micro uzi that fires at a slowed down rate so that you get more firing time than a split second
About this creation
this is the gun with the gun with the stock extended
this is the back. you can fit about 20 rubber bands onto the gear with one on each tooth, rotating the gear back as far as it will go.
this is the gun with the side taken off. basically, the back gear turns slowly, and the front gears turn extremely fast, and then the off-centre weight and the piston slow the whole thing down.
this is a micro uzi. It fires rubber bands. it is fully automatic, but the rubber bands are released at a slow enough rate so that it takes about 2-3 seconds to fire off roughly 20 bands. this was a very difficult part, as if i just pu loads of friction on the gear at the back, the last few bullets wouldnt have enough energy to fire.
the gun has a folding stock, just like the real gun, but you have to remove it and then reattach it in the folded out position, because there wasnt enough room to make a hinge for it to swing on like the real gun.
the basic principle is that the bands attach to the sight at the front and the gear at the back. this gear turns slowly and the gears nearer the front (see pic 4) turn very, very fast. then the off-centre weight and the piston slow the whole thing down without using too much friction. the trigger is basically a ratchet on the fast spinning gears.
hey you are a very good lego gun maker.. im a learning maker.. i got a newbie single shot gun and i saw this.. this is really amazing :O can you plss send the step by step tutorial to firstname.lastname@example.org ... i would apreciate if you do.. ok thnxx and byeee :D
All your guns are so awesome! I think i particularly like this UZI and the MP5, can you make some instructions on how to make those rubber band firing mechanisms? i would really appreciate it!Come see my MiniG BTW!
