Klyde Honore' is the main character in The Turning of the Gear and accompanying side stories. He is the son of Drist Honore', leader of the Gear priests and army. After fleeing Machinique and his father, Klyde becomes a mercenary for hire, that is, until his past catches up with him. This is the closest thing I have to a sig fig.
About this creation
Here he is in his Gear Cadet uniform, shortly before turning on the Gear Army and striking it out on his own.
Here's the custom bike that he "acquires" during his escape out of the city.
When he returns to the city many years later he comes sporting guns, "Silver Rose" his sword, and his own armor. Klyde was born from an angel, to save the forsaken planet, unfortunatly his father was Drist, and at the age of three, Drist ripped Klyde's wings off to save himself the humiliation of having a "freak" son. Klyde finds this out many years later when God speaks to him and is the initial reason he strikes out on his own. He's the only person of Angel descent to have black wings: Hence why locals seeing his wings start to grow back named him "Dark Owl". His code name in the Gear army was "Clipped Owl" a phrase that now refers to any ex-soldier that remains alive outside the Gear Order.
Now he has his symbol, the feather, adorned on his armor.
God tells him that revelations are at hand, and he will start to cleanse the world of evil, one city at a time. Klyde begs him not to, that there are good people still out there. So a deal is struck: If Klyde can save the good people in every town before it was struck down, those people would live.
God: "You're half angel, half human. Half perfect, half sinful. What does that make you?"
Klyde: "An asset to you and a death sentence to Drist."
