A simple two-story home for a nice, quiet residential LEGO neighborhood.
About this creation
A few weeks ago I posted pictures of my "New York Style Brownstone" house. However, not every minifig in my LEGO world enjoys the hustle and bustle of the city. While the Brownstone resides in a trendy, upscale part of the city, some minifgs just want to be able to come home at night, mow the lawn, fire up the bbq, and then kick back and enjoy suburbia. Hence, the "Suburban Two-Story".

It's really a simple little two-story house to accompany the "Frank Lloyd Wright" house and the LEGO "Model Town House". The interior is unfurnished as of yet. Perhaps this house is still for sale due to the lackluster housing market. Economic woes even hit minifigs I guess.

At least the lawn is tidy and there are even a few flowers planted out front. Oh, and it's got skylights! Hooray for skylights! Just watch your step as you exit the back door. It's a bit of a drop right now. I suppose I should probably put some steps back there one of these days.

Well, since Kelso stole my "addition" joke, I'l just keep it simple this time with a good old "nice one"! I know I could've gone with a "nice suburban house on the suface but don't look in the basement" kinda joke, but I'm just waking up and my brain hasn't cought up yet... Keep it Blocky ~ Chris.

It would be cool if you made a cul-de-sac with more of these suburban houses. That would be cool. I think I should try that out!

It indeed is simple, but very, very nice! It would look awesome in any Lego town. And in my opinion, not every building needs to be a palace anyways. Very cool. Steffen

I've never considered "This could be a Lego set!" to really be a compliment, since good MOCs tend to be more substantial than offical sets. But with the recent Cafe Corner family and the house Creator sets, I'll have to change my tune. This could easily be pictured on a Creator set box. Nice work.

Just a little slice of domestic heaven. And for those considering purchasing a home, this ABS domicile has some serious perks...Lego really seems to hold its value, termites will never be a concern, mold shouldn't be an issue, and additions...well just slap on some more bricks and your good to go!
