I realised that a lot of caveracers had been coming from people who'd discovered them on MOCpages but I never actually posted them here. It feels kind of weird to chronicle the fad but I'm bored. The short of it is that I created the first one for a contest by Don Wilson (for which it was ineligible), built some more, got a friend to build me one, and it went from there.


These are the first three, two by me and one by my friend Jas who built his with much more fun colours that I, unfortunately, didn't have.


While this one is a later addition. I chose trans-orange round plates for power because I had way too many and they weren't very useful for much else. By the time this was made there were probably 20 or so caveracers. I'm not even going to bother counting how many there are now even just in the flickr group. The Pigs On the Wings variants add even more.
