hi, I'm nguyen hoang phong, from Vietnam. this is my first MOC here. It's a semi-auto rbg. I know is pretty lame, especially comparing to other guns on mocpages, but I posted it anyway. and sorry for my terrible English. I built the first gun when I had nothing to do and it is so easy to build that I decided to duplicate it. every feature is minimum to guarantee small size, but it still work very well, shooting a small rubber band up to 5 meters from my shoulder height ( about 1.5 m).My friends and I had a duel using the guns on my birthday party. the "bullet" doesn't hurt much, even barely noticeable at a distance so we called up a "referee" and took off our shirt, that improved the game a lot.building is very straightforward, as I mentioned( I think they can be built from the pictures below).

the ratchet piece move to let the hand go freely when the trigger is pulled
the front handle is not stationary but it makes the shooting much easier. you can also see the "nose" ( i don't know to call the bit where we hook the rubberbands on) which is a transparent blue bit connected to a yellow "double peg" bit from the RIS 2.0, you hook the band on either teeth of the "double peg" so the bullets' trajectory tend to curve on eitheir side. this nose ensure strength but i think other pieces would work as well.

i taped the nose to increase accuracy and reduce jamming.
this pic might give you a good impression of the size of the gun. if you are wondering, yes, that's the Harry potter 7 on the background. the red one is the english and the yellow one is the vietnamese version. this picture i took in my room, the others were taken in my parents' room where there is more space and better light but i was shooed away for annoying my little brother.
You load the gun by hooking one end of a small rubber band onto the yellow hook at the front (where the breech should be) and the other end onto a tooth of the toothwheel in the middle of the barrel. you the grab the rubber wheel and turn it till the moving hand stuck at the bottom of the ratchet piece. then, pull the trigger while continue to spin the rubber wheel. repeat this six, seven times. the gun may stall at the last shots, so load the last two shots ( the two first ones you load) with 3, 4 rubber bands on consecutive teeth. this method is primitive, but it works anyway. As the gun is semi-auto, simple pull the trigger to shoot one band till the ammo runs out.
so, that's my gun. fell free to comment on it and also on my English :-D. and feel free to ask anything you want. i know it doesn't look very good, but if you want something that looks nice, just build a shell around it. and please credit me if you intend to build this gun or use this mechanism.
To Long's question, it can reach 2.6 m (around 60 feet or so) on average. And it is not at all fragile. In fact, I dropped it several times without any nasty mess.
