About this creation
Heavy Planetary Assault Craft (HPAC)

This is my third version of my original clone transport. This version comes after the RADs.

This assault craft serves as both a gunship and dropship. The HPAC is used by the Republic for air to ground assaults on various planets.

Lift for the HPAC is provided by repulsor drives which are housed underneath the craft between two pontoons. These pontoons carry the weight of the HPAC upon landing. Forward propulsion is achieved thanks to four forward thrusters on the sides and two underneath the main hull between the two pontoons.

The HPAC has the primay cockpit located on the front and has three operators to control the complex operations required to maneuver the HPAC. Above the primary cockpit is the fire control cockpit where the operator controls all the HPAC's arsenal.

The HPAC is armed with 2 independent rotating weapon pods that have 2 heavy laser cannons and four Hellfire Missiles, 2 heavy laser cannons on each side beneath the holding cells, and 2 repeater laser cannons for the side gunners.

The HPAC also has two rear platforms on each side near the rear of the craft which are connected to the troop bay. Commandos can walk out onto the platforms and lay any suppressing fire that is needed before landing and deployment.

The rear section of the HPAC is a troop bay that can hold up to ten commandos. The large loading ramp protects the commandos when on approach to the dropzone and lowers to allow the commandos to exit.

The HPAC is equipped with two holding cells on either side which can be either force sensitive or standard holding cells.

There is a command post on the top side of the HPAC to allow the commander to coordinate the actions of his elite team.

Cool, interesting colors. The only thing I don't like about this is the use of Star-Wars Stormtroopers. Also, good job with the bottom of the ship!

I agree with all who have reviewed, the color scheme is great, the cockpit is ingenious, and the engines are great...2 problems though: it's too boxy [not very aero-dynamic like other SW Dropships] and the turrets are too exposed. If you could culminate them into the ship's design instead of making them look like an add-on and also "slim down" the ship, this MOC would be incredible. Good work overall.

Amazing job! The color scheme is great, and the construction is great as well, however, it seems a tad hazzerdous for soldiers to be standing outside the ship! Nevertheless, great job!
