About this creation
01: Plunder
02: "I Give to the Living Before it is Lost"
I have spent my life alone. . .
. . .On the run. . .
In fear.
Through this event I have seen much death and tragedy, yet nobody is here to witness it with me. . .
"I trudge through this endless swamp before me...the rain puddles are large and soil my feet...there is a smell of smoke...a tire with glowing embers. . .a fire was here. . .
Could it be true? This was the work of no animal...it is man-made...it must be! The hope that guides me grows stronger by the minute...I can feel it's warmth within me...am I really alone?

Well, not sure how this one slipped by me? There goes Prof Kelso and his "I'm so cool with my photoshop stuff" again... OK, nuff picking on Kdawg. I was a little thrown by the pics at first too, but now that I see (and read) what you're trying to do, good job. Your stuff is getting more and more detailed as we go. Pretty soon, you're gonna be doing these HUGE dios for 4 lines of story. Kinda like moctag in that respect although I don't think we've seen a 4 line episode in months. Anyway, great work and can't wait to see what the next chapter has in store for our lonesome hero... Keep it blocky ~ Chris. |

I do like the blur affect, NICE IDEA! I have noticed since the Indy Jones sets came out a lot of people have used the minifigs in them for some interesting stuff...good use of Dr. Jones Jr.'s torso! |

about my sig-fig: it says i'm from the philipines, a country right next to china. just to clarify, i'm filipino american, not chinese american. i could understand the misconception. pretty funny situation though. later. ~sho |

The build (or jumble?) is pretty good looking, though the pictures really didn't turn out that good. But yeah so far this story's been somewhat interesting! |

Nice, love the build and the effects on the pics. You're awesome with landscape. I love the feeling of loneliness in the story. Great MOC, hope Chapter 4 will coming soon !

Well, the photos are experimental. They may not be high quality, but I like focusing on the build and the story, rather than pictures. They were also last minute, so I had no time to really go nuts with Photoshop; I just wanted to post this before my trip. I'll try some new techniques; I thank you all for the feedback. See ya in two weeks! ;-) |

Nice layout. The favorite thing for me was the pile of bones with the white helmet. When I saw that picture I thought that the helmet was almost part of the skeleton, the skull. When I realized what it was I thought it was like the helmet had been stripped of flesh and bleached in the sun like the bones. Great effect. The other details are pretty good too. Curious to see what happens. garth |

I'm going to complain about the presentation as well... I appreciate going for a certain effect, but I just don't think that it works here. My first thought was, "Why are his pictures so bad this time?" Oh well. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Overall it's well built as always. |

You know, looking through the pics again, they’re starting to grow on me. Pic #1 still bothers me, but #4 and #5 are actually pretty neat. So, yeah…well done my friend. Wow, this is the most comments I've ever left on an MOC...;-) |

Nice addition to the storyline, and another good build. I like the motion idea. I think I might take an in-focus shot of the fig, and a seperate blurred-shot of the background, then photoshop them together to look as though the viewer is moving WITH the fig. Love seeing some experimental stuff...keep 'em coming. |

@ElNickre – Yeah, I get the effect you’re going for, and I give you credit for trying something different, but for me, it just distracts more then enhances. What I think doesn’t really matter though, as long as you’re happy with it. Follow your muse, baby! ;-) |

That’s a neat little dio. Great details and good technique on the base, but the blurry/dim pics hurt it a bit. Are you using a tripod? |
