Shimofuri Med. UA Mech
A medium urban assualt mechanoid made in japan, sold worldwide.
About this creation
Gitaku Industrial would like to present!

!!Shimofuri!!

New! made of the highest qulity materials and systems, our mechinoids are crafted with excellence! Made without defect garunteed!

---------------------------------------

The shimofuri is an.....adequte medium mechanoid best suited for the urban brawl. Over hyped, over rated.....under priced.

The primary advantage the Shimofuri, or Grey, had was it's industrial capacity, it was produced in numbers so high by rivaling factions of the Japanese Consolate that it outnumbered Tanks and advanced mecha combined 5 to 1! The service this mechanoid had was rather greuling, with the help of United States Robotics and Soviet Robo-works the Grey eventually got the capacity it deserved, Fighting under hanus conditions and often seeing hundreads of skirmishes and even full fledged battles before even needing repairs. Becoming a shining star example of the importance of having skilled pilots in battle. Infact In the Liberation of tokyo, the warlord Shinji Matsumoto made his heroic last stand on top of the Japanese Government tower, scoring a confirmed 452 kills before running out of ammunition, running out of fuel and finnaly lossing his mech's entire left leg. He is said to have set his reactor to meltdown mode, and remained in his Shimofuri to kick all the enemies that dared to remove him from the city he dreamed to free.....

Tech Specs:

Structure- Titanium superstructre with steel supports and 100 tons of steel plating

Armor- Depleated Uranium armor covered in metalic kevlar compound

Power plant- Radial nuclear generator (RNG) RiNG has 137 megawatt capacity

Weapons-Dual 30 mm cannons

Additional- Two 43k HP Hitashi brand "Electro Jets". Electro Jets take in air through a constricted air way, varying from 40-78.6 mm. The Jets use a great deal of electrical power to suck in sufficant air to combust fuel. Although this consumes much energy and harder to maintain and construct it drasticly reduces fuel spent and even performs better in low pressure atmospheres.

Improved side veiw

It is tradition in the new Japanese Consolate to operate one's shimofuri with the electro jets unfolded, in honor of Shinji Matsumoto.

Pretty cool. I like the way that the top is designed. Oh, and you spelled "Guaranteed" as "Garunteed".

Quoting DAS 46 I like the the combination of huge legs and tiny torso. I can just see this thing striding over buildings or through deep water.
well thank you, i liked the build of this mech alot, the second version is gonna be way meatier, the torso is going to be 70% bigger.

Quoting Dali Zheng I have to agree with Toby; make the joints not stand out so much and try to reduce the number of studs visible.
thank you for the help, i'm making a second one, the Shimofuri super! Please review it when it's up, i used a new cockpit and am working on a new RiNG.

Quoting Toby Heinemann Thanks for the positive feedback! As for your own work: I actually quite like the size of the legs, and the smallness of the torso compared to them reminds me of Striders from Half-Life 2. If I could offer any constructive criticism, I'd say to make things more studless if you can and otherwise keep joints from looking too small (like the uppermost areas of the legs).
well thank you, i'll be releasing a second version soon, thanks for the critique!
