Computer and Custom labels designed for a class 2 ship-to-surface transport ship.
About this creation
So now I have started physicly building Starbug 1, I thought I would experiment with some different techniques on building compters for my ship and some designs on custom labels.
This screen is one of wo that I have in my collection and I always thought it would become a great computer screen, but how to use it? It really is a strange thickness hardley anything will hold it so here we have one of my only methords to work other than putting it in a window frame. At least now the crew will always know how many satellites a planet does have.
This is the other version of my screen I think this one is more like some type of spacial calculator.
From the rear of the screen you can now see how it is clamped in. (Warning in battle simulations this screen is known to shatter, please always where footwear).
A computer styled from the orignal Star Trek episodes, I can really see this on my Starbug bridge.
This is a rear view of the Star Trekkie looing computer here you can get some idea onto how I get the 1x1 brick to angle as it does.
I think this computer is more like a snack dispenser or scanner, but I think it looks more like a Star Wars GONK droid more than anything.
The first of my custom stickers, Crapola is a company in the Red Dwarf universe that make Talkie Toaster you cherpie brekfast companion, Talkie his is name and toasting his is game. The Sticker is designed to fit on a (Slope Brick 45 2 x 2 New light grey) as are all the other stikers in this secion.
This is screen displaying Game Over, It was used in Red Dwarf when they thought they where playing an AR game. But as usual they where just being attacked by a giant squid that was trying to make them committ suicied.
Here we have a screen from a series 4000 mechanoid from divadroid international it seems to be having some problems connecting to the server.
A Standard JMC (Jupiter Mining Corperation) Loading Screen.
Aliens in Red Dwarf NEVER, but that does not stop the crew beliving in triple brested aliens that look like roast chickens and naming them Quaagaar's.
A Scanning screen from a class 2 transportation vehical, it seems like they are being homed in on by a giant squid.
Next Time On: We will have our first glimpses on the first sphere with bridge with some of the above techniques being used within.
Talkie also does a really nice redition of "Fly Me To The Moon". There's not many "dwarfers" round here so I feel it's my duty to thank you for starting this. Can't wait to see what the end result is. Leave me a review on one of my pages when you get it done! "SMAKIBBFB" (Only Dwarfers will get that one) ~ Chris.
