Of course it is logically. Lego is made out of plastic, even if it's pretty hard it isn't a constant material. In such a big ring out of 2x1 pieces that's no problem + if you do ring, you have the same small stress on all pieces, so it gives you a perfect circle. Btw. Well done! I have seen something similar before, but this one's also pretty good :D

I didn't know you could get standard 1x2 bricks to curve like that. I thought for sure you needed to use 1x1 rounds.
