The latest addition to the U.C.E.'s military, the Jaguar Armored Transport. Equipped with a quad laser turret and four side mounted laser cannons, this ship combines moving power and firepower. It's twin engines are located in each of the side engine pods, where the side lasers are located as well. It has a crew of two, and can carry five squads of men. Note: This version is the civilian adaptation, with the cargo hold greatly dimished and a second bulkhead installed.
I built this on a whim, over the course of two weeks. The interior may be hard to see, because I built it out of almost entirely black pieces, which was a bad choice. It makes it very dark and hard to see. Hope you like it though.
Side profile shot. Can't really see the engine pods, but you can see the large quad turrets. I love quad turrets, in case you can't tell. ;)
Now you can see the embedded engines and the engine pods. That's the rear cargo ramp. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of it open, and I can't get one, as I took this apart to make the Auburn.
Here's the front. I tried to make it stud less, but gave up.
There's two of these airlocks on either side.
Here's it open. Can't see it that well, a side effect of the black brick design. I used the same type of airlock as the one in the Aquabase Invasion set from Aquaraiders.
In the civilian version (this one) this is the living area with a small galley and a sitting area. In the military version, this is all the troop/cargo bay.
Here's the small troop/cargo bay. In the military version, this is much bigger. You can see three containers in the hold. They can each stack on each other, using alternating smooth surfaces and stud surfaces.
The small bunkroom for the crew. Only two bunks, with a rack for equipment.
Another shot of the Jaguar, just a slightly different angle.
