After the final battle the toa mahri were taken to the toa elite council through a tunnel that was discovered by kongu, upon reaching there destination ,the council head Am-khex crafted protosteel armor for them and sent them to be trained by the toa Vyadax, after completing their training they were given elite status, and were told to give the nuva elite statuswhen they returned.
