Man...this little thing has been many types of MOCs up to this point, but I think it looks good as a Nannan Z thing. Based on a unknown planet, this is unknown ground with unknown goop in a unknown crater.
As shown in the main picture, this is the daddy of nothingness in these three. Don't ask me what it means or what it represents, because I don't know.
This little creation was used in my "I accept" MOC for the MOC-off between Blade B and I. Actually, Blade B just changed his name to Caleb "Kutlass Crocodile" Blanchet.
More pictures and idle rambling
I built these three vignettes while my moderately sized castle MOC is under construction. That's why they're small. =)
*Sigh* It's hard to think that my castle will be posted in September which is in the fall...whatever happened to summer? At least mine went out with excitement...(here comes a story)
Caleb Blanchet and his younger brother Matt came over to camp on my property with my older brother Brad and I. We boiled our own water, cooked out own meals, and had a great time, but right in the middle of all that something "fun" happened.
We got out of my above-ground pool and came back to the fire in the near darkness only to see that out fire was almost out. My brother decided to throw a huge dry log on the fire so that the end rested in the dry grass. (Great idea) The log started smoking, and then instantly caught fire. Brad got a small saw and started franticly cutting the end off so the grass wouldn't catch fire.
Caleb yelled for Brad to move over and he started cutting even faster. Soon the flames were at the end of the log, but Brad came over with a large Christmas tree saw. Caleb took one side and I took the other and we started sawing back and forth with the flames pretty much touching our hands.
You shoulda seen us...kneeling in the darkness in our swimming trunks with flames leaping at our faces trying to cut a dead log. Matt ran around yelling with a wet towel and Brad tried to break it while we cut. Wonderful fun.
We finally got it under control and slept soundly the rest of the night. (Sorta) I think I'll make a MOC of that adventure...
Oh yeah, and feel free to comment on the MOC. My castle will be up as soon as I can finish it, but until then...Vigs!
Great job, that camping trip sounds great. And these vigs are killer! I really love the use of colors, except for the first vig. I don't like the trans green bricks, but it does give it a sci-fi or alien feel. I like numbers 2 and 3. Those ones are really interesting, something about it is really cool...
That was one hilarious story, and the vigs weren't too bad, either :P I especially liked the one for Blade's "I Accept MOC"...I was on vacation, that's why I missed this one...and I'm sure you're gonna want that cake back b/c I'm about to post another addition to my WIP. And I'm about to mail LegoLord's certificate back...
Fire. It's always exciting! We used to play with fire as kids. Luckily the house did not burn down. Don't try that at home! These pieces are interesting. I like the one with three guys best. I like these sort of art explorations. Wish more people tried them, even if they were just abstractions and didn't always have a meaning. Sometimes they reflect the hidden meaning that comes from our subconscious. Building small is cool. See ya. garth
