AT-PT
AT-PT
About this creation
The All Terrain Personal Transport (AT-PT) was a Clone Wars era mech, well, it was, UNTIL LUCAS SCREWED UP EVERYTHING (by publishing 5 or so books that mention it being in the Clone Wars, and then completely disregarding it when he makes the prequels)!!! Anyways, it is in a few of Timothy Zahn's books, and is armed with two laser cannons and a grenade launcher. And before anybody tells me it's out of scale, I know that. It is WAY to big to be minifig scale, but, you have to admit it is probably the most accurately made AT-PT (disregarding the scale). I will be working on a much more to scale version, and will probably be posting that sometime... By the way, I have directions for my AT-PT on my website: www.roxent.com/xfett

I decided to "pull a Lego" and scrap the engine, and in it's place put a "secret compartment" that stores the pilot's gun and macro-binoculars.

The AT-PT itself is VERY good, and the big scale doesn't make it bad. But you really should make some other walkers too!

The shape of this is excellent, even if it is way too big, IMO. Now if you could make an AT-ST and an AT-AT to scale with THIS, now that would be doing something...

Yay! My favourite AT unit! First is that does it really have those side cannons? And that hatch?

Not bad. Now, claiming that Lucas screwed up something Zahn wrote is a little bizarre, but I didn't take off smileys for that.
