Moldy Crow
About this creation
This ship is from Dark Forces and Dark Forces II Jedi KnightI (both excellent games). Unfortunately, it was destroyed at the end of JKI and was replaced by the pitiful and ugly ship called "The Raven." In the pic, you can see Jan Ors and Kyle Katarn with his green lightsaber. And yes, I have been informed that the ramp is incorrect, and the real opening hatch is on the top, but the ramp is just too cool to pass up.
And the lightsaber IS supposed to be green, play Jedi Knight I, Dark Forces II if you don't believe me.

Ah, the cockpit. This sucker has more buttons than your modern day remote control. Well, not that many, but almost.

For starters great looking crow (even if the colors are a little dark). Just to let you all know, the moldy crow is supposed to have a ramp and a cargo hold (see Soldier for the Empire) in addition to her top hatch. The cocpit interior needs less controls and more seeting, not to mention the opening windows. Also, I think you ought to watch the cutscenes again for more top detail. Yeah, great!! I love the greebling too. Is there any space other than the cockpit? Oh well if there isn't it doesn't matter. The ship is really cool anyway.
Buy the way, everyone who thinks that Kyle's lightsaber is the wrong colour, at this point in time (Jedi Knight:Dark Forces) Kyle has a green lightsaber and owns the Moldy Crow. Later on, in Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, he has a blue saber and the Raven's claw. It's amazing how many people say this even though bother Xerxes Fett and Saber-Scorpion have corrected you on this very page (an now I have too). |

Yes, Kyle gets Rahn's green lightsaber in JK1, then Yun's yellow lightsaber, and in JK2 he makes his own blue lightsaber. But then he gets that hideous ship called the Raven's Claw. The Moldy Crow OWNS it just like JK1 OWNS JK2. And this LEGO also owns, by the way! It's almost perfect! I absolutely love the cockpit and the greebling. Great attention to detail. The minifigs could use work though. ;) |
