About this creation
This moc was Moc Of The Day on 1 November 2012
- - -

The Shadow has intercepted the Demon, the Demon is a well armed ship but the Shadow is crewed by the damned and is after all the fastest.

Haul on the main brace !
Make ready the guns !

and run out the sweeps...

the guns are in position

the Shadow caught up on the Demon.

The Demon turns in an attempt to evade a boarding action from the Shadow.

The Shadow fires its guns and makes its turn

The pursuit continues

The Shadow sails right after the Demon and has a special surprise, the triple cannon is being loaded

the Demon can't get lost of their pursuers, the Shadow is too fast, a fight is unavoidable...

Fire !

I hope you like it, If I demolish one of the ships I will take pictures of so I can end this battle
the question is; which ship ?
a hard choice, the Shadow is the best ship but it also has the best parts, If I make a new ship it must as good or better than the shadow...
you can check out the Demon here
and the shadow here

Really great MOC! I think it'd be cool to do some cannonballs hitting the sides of the ships, with some flames and smoke around the impact area, as well.

Quoting Amira M Awesome battle, but to improve your cannonball shooting, you could put reddish studs in the back to act like fire. This Shadow was expertly built, and in my opinion, the best.
Thanks, I did add reddish studs in later creations ;)

great idea for the non-Lego ocean! Sure must cost a lot less than 10 square feet of blue plates, huh? I just saw your first ship, the Flying Dutchman, and now I see you have 2?!?!?!? Wow, just re-enact the whole movie then! Thanks for not introducing Johnny Depp into the MOCTag!

Hey Seb, a few blocks down, you spelled hours wrong. You spelled it houres. Just wanted to tell ya'. This is very good. And on your Flying Dutchman, you should make the Davy Jones with... * A Dwarven beard. * A troll face. * Black body. * Red legs. * Pirate Captain Hat. * Those white cuffs on the shoulders. * A hook. I will have a Davy Jones soon. Maybe right now. It will be in a newly created pirate folder. Check it out!!!!! Nathan

One word: AWESOME!! I wish I had one or more Pirate ships too, but I never got one of them...Now my Lego Pirate minifigs have to use some small rowboats! I don't think they will win from King Kahuka, I have King Kahuka's whole island, 13 islanders, 2 Islander Catamarans, 1 Islander "Rowboat", and for the Pirates...3 Imperial Pirates with 2 little rowboats, one admiral...one officer, one Soldier...for my evil pirates I have one rowboat 1 captain, 1 admiral or General, 3 pirates...I wish I had more than that!
