This model is based on an actual building in Rome, it was build in the 2nd c. BC. Though originaly dedicated to a family God (Portunus) I decided because of the time in wich I was buiding the Temple to dedicate it to Mars.
About this creation
This temple is based on a real building from the Republican period in Rome.

Roof will be next challenge to make.
Hello,
There are a few more pictures on my Flickr Account, just search for Neverroads and you'll find it. I'm very curious what your Ldraw result will look like. If you want more information, you can contact me. |

Decided to rebuild the Portunus Temple in Ldraw.
Sofar, I managed well, details can be found on the MOC-pages, the door is difficult, but I managed to make something alike.
With new colums f lego, it more looks like a real Roman Structure.
Inside temple, red wall is guessing how it looks, but managed to do. Roof will be next challenge to make. |

Wow, just amazing. Attention to detail is stunning? How long did it take you?
P.S To anyone who gave this a score less then a 5, you should be ashamed. You obviously have no idea of talent. |

This deserves much higher than a 3.5. It's one of the best buildings I've ever seen! I'd love to see it in person. |
