About this creation
Explored microscale a little while ago and I'm just getting around to uploading these pics here on MOCpages (some of you may've seen them on Flickr.) I must say microscale is very addictive and it suits me with my small to medium sized collection; you don't need a huge amount of parts, just a nice range. These ships are all different in design and purpose but I named them all after girls I liked at high school ;) Well, ships were referred to "she" in the old days...hope ya like 'em!
UESF Frigate "Shelley" with droid recon ship.
Went for a deliberatly U-boat feel with this one.
The recon bot-ship.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Raw materials transport "Kyla"
Transports small asteroids. The ship is usually built thru the material.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Medical shuttle "Penelope"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Blacktron attack ship "Black Widow"
Reminded me of the Black Widow WW2 aircraft (NO before you ask-there was no girl at school called "Black Widow!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Prisoner transport "Rowanna" with droid escort
The rear section of Rowanna, which the prisoner's cells are, can be jettisoned in an emergency.
Droid escort. Note the glayvinoids.

Phipson is right. EXCEPT black widows kill quickly. Women like to spend decades beating you down until you are little more than a hopeless, lifeless cellular mass capable of little more than breathing and praying for death. ...GREAT builds by the way. :-) |

Wow, very cool! I love Black Widow the best. I love the prisoner ship, though, with the rubber band holders. Great thinking, Shanno! Excellent work! |

Back from "no computer wasteland" with a vengeance! And there was no need to specify about there being no girl named black widow. That's every woman! They mate and then suck all the life right out of ya! Welcome back! ~ Chris. |

Rowanna looks like a needle. A needle that injects microscale goodness straight to my heart! |

You use a lot of design techniques that "mainstream" microscale builders don't. My favorite was probably the ore transport. Some of the ships had a few gaps that could be filled in with more detail, but overall this is a great display of creativity. |
