A behemoth of computerized Legos.
About this creation
A couple years ago I was using Lego Digital Designer 1.6 EXTENSIVELY. So much, in fact, that I challenged myself to construct an Aircraft Carrier. I looked at pictures of model and real-life aircraft carriers on Google Images, and after a few day's hard work, the aircraft carrier was born! I think it's about 98 studs long. Unfortunately, I was limited to being offline on the program, and could never check the price. Nevertheless, even if I HAD bought it and made it, it probably wouldn't hold together! :)
This is (more or less) a close up on the miniature jet planes docked on the boat.
Here's a better look at the... central building (ok, so I don't know my boat smarts). Though it's impossible to see, I put colored and trans-colored bricks/tiles behind the clear pieces, to give the sense that there was stuff within the building.
There's the jet taking off! Another LDD MOC will include better pics of the jet AND the smaller ship.
My mini helicopter, WHICH I'm very proud of. Based it off a chopper I saw somewhere that I can't remember... *shrug*
And of course: The all-powerful UNDERSIDE PIC!!

Nice. The jets aren't too hot, but they are hard to do at such as small scale. Also you can't remember what the helicopter is :'-(, I like helicopters, and I wanted to compare it to the real thing. |
