Ferrari F585 Superitalia
This one is my hard top convertible Ferrari F585 "Superitalia". It is my application for Andy Lamborghinis working convertible contest ;-)
About this creation
With their 2009 "California", Ferrari builds the first hard-top convertible in the brands history. My fictional interpretation of this idea is a crossbreed between the "Superamerica" with it's revolving glassroof and a pure convertible. See for yourself, enjoy and please comment.

Opening trunk... really spacy

Interior views

A mighty V-8 producing 585bhp.

How the hard top works: First you have a sleek spider with rollbars...

...the beams move up and the roof flips over...

...and locks. Finally the backlite comes up...

and you have a Coupé.

Great replica! Good choice of car for the competition entry too; Ferarri probably made the simplist folding hard-top in the world. Had you tried to make a Volvo C-70 for example, there would probably have been a small explosion of bricks the first time you operated it. Nice job : )

Hey guys! This car looks really great. I especially like the hood, the luggage compartment, and the front window. Thanks for the comment on my Ferrari California 2009. The roof design is made with elements I had at hand, but it's not particularly unstable. New parts are now ordered to improve the design ;)

Thanks Dylan. Well, it all started with Ferraris for us - so we stick a bit to it ;-). But be assured, we are also working on other cars now...Sven's Gallardo hit it, I guess. With a bit more time the new pics and cars are coming. Be patient. Cheers, Jens
