One of two Consuls in the Imperium, whose positions are second only to the mighty Emperor himself.
About this creation
/\LEXANDRUS FORTIS, CONSUL
--------------][--------------
The position of consul in the Imperium is second only to the mighty Emperor. Consul hopefuls go before the Senate to gain support. They are generally high ranking in the military and from wealthy families or somehow related to the Emperor.
Alexandrus Fortis is a nephew of the Emperor, and was handpicked by him after the catastrophic death of beloved consul Gaius Stratus in a battle gone awry in the Carthaginian System.
The equipment on this regal battlesuit consists of:
-Chromed Excalibur Plates and exhaust vent
-Quintus Jet system (standard jump jet and 4 upgrade nozzles, coupled together on right and left sides)
-Caveat Duo Rifle: One barrelled slug shooter, with an undermounted Flamer
-Carnifex Pistol: two barrels, similar to the Gladius. Extra topmounted, 3-shot flamer (can be reloaded).
EDIT: It has come to my attention that the Cingulum-the belt, that is- on the battlesuit has convinced some people that it may have been an attempt to portray the suit as "Anatomically Correct." Normally, it would be me with my mind in the gutter, but this one time, it isn't. The idea of it being "anatomically correct" is not correct - there should be one dangling thing, not three. Other pieces would be more suitable for making it correct. No, these are not representative of anything naughty. These are extensions of the Roman soldier's belt, usually leather decorated with metal, serving as a kind of armor.

Check out that chrome. I love those Discovery Space sets. They rock. Expect to see those half circle panels from the Saturn V rocket in a future MOC.

Taking a shot from behind at a higher angle makes this look really weird, like he's falling backwards. He isn't.

Chrome. Old Chrome because the new chrome sucks. Boo to you, Lego! Boo! I want shiny, shiny, shiny, not crappy satin finishes that rub off! Bah!

Well well, if it isn't Paddy my boy! Excellent exo-suit, the only thing I can find wrong with it is that the "pilot" is in a very penetrable position, a good sniper can hit 'em down. But that isn't enough for me to not rate it a five. ;) |

Make two and have them do battle! Like the action-jackson poses in the last few pics. I too would work on the feet, but overall this thing has smackdown written all over it! Cheers! |

The red grill tile is indeed out of place. I'm not sold on the feet either, but the chrome and construction...Paddy, you rock. |

Very cool. A few things I would change--the feet look a little like bird beaks :) And the red grille's very out of place. Still, the arms+gun and torso are very, very nice. -Josh |
