As promised here are some more pictures.
We (www.gplr.org) just had a show at GATS in Portland, OR.
So decided to take some new pictures.
I found it very difficult to take a picture of a train that is over 10 ft long.
This train runs with the controller at one notch from full.
It uses only two motors, one on each end of the TGV.
It handles most curves and inclines, but will derail sometimes on S curves in the yards.
But that is due to that rubber bands trying to pull the cars together.
Very good interpretation of the TGV! I see you are using the rubber band technique! I have no experience with the technique, but I heard that it works. The only thing about your train that I am not a big fan of is the nose. The nose needs to be a little bit less steep. The nose piece from set number 7897 would do the trick!
