CHECK OUT MY OTHER MOC'S
The story: You're already saying "what in the world is that?". It's the Plunderer, piloted by IG-91 (see the IG-91 page for his story). The Plunderer was a high security light transport in it's 'previous life'. The EU version of an armored car. IG-91 jacked the Plunderer as it was in the loading process, and converted into a pirate ship. It's extremely well-armored, and well-armed, and it's much faster than it appears. It owes it's speed to capital-grade engines, much like IG-88 outfitted the IG-2000 with. Similar to bounty-hunting ships (which this is used for on very rare occasions), this ship can blast you out of the sky, or quickly disable for boarding. Along with the suped-up engines came a capital-grade heavy tractor beam. The ship also sports an ion cannon, two heavy lasr cannons, and an anti-personnel slug-throwing cannon.
The MOC: I went for something very different (obviously) with this ship. It has a very strange and unique configuration, with pretty cool equipment. The parts are spares, some of them as old as - well, let's just say VERY old (most of the blue bricks are from when I was a kid).

Side elevated view. Starts to show off the unique design. Looks the part - very tough.

Side view. You can see the slug-thrower in front of the cockpit, and the landing gear, which retracts neatly.

Rear port side view. Cockpit, main fuselage, and engine detail. You can also make out some of the comm/jamming array up against the main fuselage under the wing (there is a matching set on the other side as well).

Rear starboard side view. This side carries most of the weaponry. That's the heavy tractor beam on the wing tip.

Front view. You can see the ion cannon on the top of the starboard wing, and the laser cannons under the same wing.

Top view. Shows the wing config, as well as giving some depth to the heavily-armored fuselage (the cargo area).

Starboard wing details. The tractor beam, ion cannon, as well as other goodies on the fuselage.

IG-91 and the sinister scientist Willhamm Gaatz in front of the craft. Notice the cockpit ladder in the background folded down.

Another shot of the figs. Good for blaster details, and you can see the jet-pack on the droid's back.
