This is one of the earliest designs for my TGV and one of my first LEGO Train MOC's.
Built back in 1998 there were some restrictions on part colors.
Some parts where not available in the colors I needed.
So the early color scheme was not what I wanted.
But the overall design was there and gave me something to work with.

You will notice that I do not have shared bogies on this train.
The real TGV has shared bogies and it was something I was still trying to recreate in LEGO.
The Duplex TGV inspired the double deck car.
But I ended up scraping the car, as it didn’t fit with the train.
I also played around with having a large Cargo car that would hold all my 2x4 silver bricks.
That too fell to the hand of the brick separator.
