This was one of many revamps that the TGV had gone through.
This version was done about late 2000 early 2001.
At this time there were parts in the right colors and I was able to build the train more prototypical.
I had also worked on making a shared bogie system for the train.
I had come up with using LEGO rubber bands to hold the cars together.
Which gave me a nice close-coupled look when the train was going down the straight track.
When the train hit the curves the rubber bands flexed and allowed the cars to separate.
As the train leaves the curve the cars come back together again.
The system worked quite well even with the tight LEGO track radius.
