A LEGO logo mosaic with 3600 1x1 bricks.
About this creation

I got the idea to do this MOC around 1999.
The into to the LEGO Media software shows thousands of 1x1 bricks raining down to form the logo.
So right as the logo comes together I hit Print Screen to find out how many bricks there were.
It was 60x60 studs so I started with four 32x32 base plates and got started.
I got all of the word LEGO built and most of the Red field when I had run out of Red 1x1 bricks.

At the time I filled it in with other 2x bricks until I could get more 1x1's in Red.
I did get some flack from people asking my why I had to do it all out of 1x1's.
I would always tell them that the point of the MOC was to copy the intro which only used 1x1's.
I later used MlCad to make some nice renders and have better instructions.

Here are the building instructions for the logo, using 1x1 plates.
