I’m kind of having a Sisyphus moment here.
About this creation
“She was considering in her own mind whether the pleasure of making a daisy-chain would be worth the trouble of getting up and picking the daisies, when a White Rabbit with pink eyes ran close by her.”
- - - - - - - - -
“She stretched herself up on tiptoe, and peeped over the edge of the mushroom, and her eyes immediately met those of a large Caterpillar, that was sitting on top with its arms folded, quietly smoking a long hookah, and not taking the smallest notice of her or anything else."
- - - - - - - - -
“And she began thinking over other children she knew, who might do very well as pigs, and was just saying to herself, ‘if one only knew the right way to change them--‘ when she was a little startled by seeing the Cheshire Cat sitting on the bough of a tree a few yards off. The Cat only grinned when it saw Alice.”
- - - - - - - - -
“There was a table set out under a tree in front of the house, and the March Hare and the Mad Hatter were having tea.”

I had planned on building one last set for Tweedledee and Tweedledum, but this project took the life out of me. I just wanted to get it over with. I did pick out a pair of minifigs to use:
The plan was, their positions, and the positions of every object in the room with them, would be mirror images of each other. Duality, and such. Wicked profound. But my interest diminished with each scene (plus I was going through the flu for most of it), and after the Cheshire Cat scene proved to be one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to shoot, I called it a day. I’m not happy with the results, but I’m not completely dissatisfied, either. At least I get to move on.

Daisy chains... That brings back some memories. Anyway, Your stuff always has that "bad trip" feel to it that I just love! Your builds (or should we call it art? Yes we should) are always top rate. I would have loved to have seen that mirror image idea. This was a great take on a classic tale. ~ Chris. |

Your work is pure art. I love it. You need to start making posters of your work so I can frame them and put them on my wall. Keep It SNOTty Sir! |

A very creative take on the classic tale of Alice. Wow, you've really brought it to life for me! The builds are nothing short of amazing. A superb build, Alex, really. Yours brickly, Nick ("ElNickre") |
