An outpost, on an island...
About this creation
NOTES, NOTES, AND MORE NOTES: "Yes, I am still alive! Between pretty much any thing you could imagine, I have conquered and, like a medieval general, am charging forward still ready for whatever the demons can throw at me! That said, CHARGE!"
Now then, let's start with the diorama part:
On this small rock the "Blue dudes" have built an outpost. Like most large armies and organizations they want to keep an eye out for enemies.
At the same time, small outposts, like this, are grand targets for small organizations and armies. In this dio "The Thieves" are butchering and stealing. Stealing: Gold and any other stuff you can sell, for more gold. Butchering: The "Blue dudes"...
Sorry *pant* for such a pause *pant* I had *pant* to stop and *pant* do the sword dance *pant* to some bagpipe music *wheeewww* what a workout...WHAT?! JD does "The moonwalk" to corny guitar solos...OK, you guys can fight over what "BEE-BOP-Boozer-BAND" you like best while I stick to soundtracks for video games and movies, and instrumental tunes...
In case you didn't know, "The Thieves" rob the rich to feed the poor, and to fill their pocket's of course!
I was going to make a custom decal for the door(One for each side) but me computer be dead...So I wasn't able to...OH well, maybe sometime soon I will make another door like it, and a decal to go with...
I tried making all "The Thieves" have a "Theify" face, here is patch eye the thief, an honest thief, he does his business well...
The interior was REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hard to photograph, between being to dark, OR BLURING, the pictures just wouldn't turn out...
"ME ARM! ME FAIR, BEUTIFULL ARM HAS BEEN CHOPPED OFF! CURSE YOU, THIEF!"
I wanted blood in this MOC, so I put it in it...
"OH Good Ale, Good Ale, thou art me darlin' thou art me love through the night and marnin'"
Here ON the rock, we have three basic rules: One: obey all rules! Two: don't feed the clams, and Three: don't draw on the walls, as it is very hard to get writing off of walls!
OK, that be it for the dio part.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ship:
You guys didn't get much of the ship because...I like the "Castle" better, so here are some photos of me ship, "The thief’s’ cloak" because like a thieves cloak, it hides more than you know...much more...
OK, OK, so I need lessons in ship building from "Sebeus Iniwum"...
Sorry for THAT pause, I had to stop, fill my Mug with Grog and sing along with a sea chantey, don't laugh! It's true!
Full, and on the way home!
Now, ladies and Gentlemen, The tour of "The Thief’s cloak" is over, let us head back to the outpost and take one last look.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Island:
Yeah, you say "Not this again" but I say "It is now empty of minifigs, ship, and water...take a look."
I think that even without the ship, the water and the minifigs, it looks good.
I am not totally satisfied with the rocks though...too blocky in my opinion.
I am always looking for new techniques to use in my building, I do not believe that in any castle creation, I have seen, anybody used this roof idea...
It easily comes off!
All the parts come off to make a pretty descent play model
You know, I think I am the only guy to post a MOC-Olympics MOC on the 20th...what a cheese!
OK THIS is my Chris phipson tribute, Chris is the skellie, just so you know, He looks happy, and he has much! Thanks be to you Chris for coming up with this great idea and including so many LEGO lovers and MOC Mocers...THANK YE!
This MOC was built for the MOC-Olympics 08, it won the first round against Alex Ruiz .
OH, and before I forget, Kelso, the Red Vines are in the mail! You didn't say if you prefer Black or Red...So I sent you both!

Great outpost and the robbers looting it were a good idea. Also, can I join the group, The Squires? Anyway, it's an awesome MOC! |

Thanks for the comment! Actually, I'm pretty sure 'The Squires' is an open and public group, where anyone who likes castle themed creations made from LEGO (R) bricks can and are welcome to join. But our Admin (The Guy who can allow you in) has been away for some time now... you could try to contact him, though. http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/13414 |

A close call on this one, but I really dig the style of that tower, so I’m giving you the nod. Congrats on making it to the next round!

The water and the island really seal it for me with this MOC. Oh, and there's blood which is always cool. Way to rock the trans-red. :-) |

I love the tower. I love the ship. And then the snot water just brings it all together. Then of course the Cherry on top was the "tribute". Thanks. It's gonna be another close call for the judges. Good luck! ~ Chris. |

I like that tower. It feels like a set to me and I mean that in a good way. I like that ship too. It's great for that small number of pieces. That's part of what makes me think set. And there's 360 degrees to play. Cool. you'd have my vote. garth |

Nice castle but for some reason I like the ship more than the castle. The blocky look is quiet good on it because its not rainbow coloured as a blocky one usually is. |
