Dave Shaddix
LegoLord
Laza D.
Matt S.
Silent-Sigfig
Neptune Project
Alex Ruiz
Lt. Zepher
Matt klein
Crimso Giger
Master Gongfu

Thanks guys.
Now then, give me a couple of days to get round two sorted out and posted. We should be ready to go by Friday. If I can get it posted on Firday, the official deadline will be (and I’m giving you a little extra time here cause round two will be a lot tougher and people who work for a living may not be able to post during the week) Saturday night (October 11th) at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (Same as New York) USA.
Stay tuned for the round 2 matches later this week! Till then...
Keep it Blocky!
~Chris.
P.S. I will be taking down this page after I post the round 2 match ups. This is just to pass on information to those who were wondering what was going on. ~C.

It might be a idea to keep this page up for historical referance to the mocolympics? (Just for the banter). |

Sho: The judges rulings are final... thats that. I am not sure how old Patrick Gregory is, but I am most certainly an AFOL, and I got HOSED. ...badly. As for Chris Phipson's obsession with SIZE... well that's a whole other issue all together. Maybe he needs to get some judges of his own for a MOC measuring contest! |

Congrats to everyone that survived the first round. Second round should be even tougher...especially seeing as I'll be gone on business for a week of it. Stupid work taking away from my building time. |

Who said anything about a Winter Olympics? I'll still be trying to recover from THIS one come Christmas! And to Sho, you are of course entitled to your opinion. Ocean won for originality (as far as I can tell from the comments. That's what I gave him the nod for in my comment). There's a lot more to this contest than size (quite Dave). I chose those three judges because I KNEW each of them would make fair decisions based on the moc, not the builder... that, and I have their paypal info and was able to send a substantial... what, never mind. ~C. |

Hey what's this? I have a fan below; that's what I'm talkin' about! I am anxious to begin round two! Congratulations to everybody who is advancing to the next round, and thanks to my opponent, Master Gongfu, for a great competition. This was exciting; every entry was fantastic! I feel sorry for Kelso; poor soul. I'll stay tuned...Yours brickly, Nick |

How did Shannon win Whateverscape?! LegoLord definitely had him beat there! I think people were somehow biased towards Shannon for him being an AFOL. No offence Shannon, but I just think LegoLord had the better MOC on this one. Just as a side note: I'm not actually screaming at the computer or have any real frustration, I just thought that the votes on LL vs Shannon were unfair. |

Round 1 was tough to judge. There was a ton of great entries and several builders with great builds were unfortunately eliminated. So congrats go to all the builders in Round 1. I can't imagine round 2 being any easier... Good luck to all. |

Congrats to all the winners and sympathy for the non-winners. No losers here, not with what was built. Other folks might be inpired to try something better than they already do. Lead by example. See you in round two. garth |

I thought that many builders overachieved in this one, (good thing) and it was interesting. Can't wait for Round 2! BTW Chris, me and JD may post our MOC-off Round 2 entries today. Be prepared, and be amazed! |

I'd love to say it was a blast (round one), but frankly you guys made the judging so d*mn difficult, that I was lucky to come out of it still conscious! Nevertheless, it was great to see so much effort put towards the MOC's, and now those who are out can look forward to watching from the sidelines as the remaining competitors BEAT THE SNOT OUT OF ONE ANOTHER!!!(little pun, there)...which...you know...sounds like fun to me. |
