Here's a vignette I made that depicts Barry mowing his tidy little suburban lawn. Yes, he is quite proud of that lawn. He fertilizes it every weekend... The base is 8x16, or twice the size of a standard vignette. I made the ground layered; it goes from stone, to soil, and then to grass. Notice that there is a wake of cut grass behind Barry's lawnmower. I used 73 grass pieces in this vignette. It is inspired by another one of Captain Kit Santi's great ideas. Great vig! Now if you wanted to go for realism, you'd need to have the guy sneezin' his brains out, toys every three feet, smoke coming out of the mower, and a neighbor leaning on the fence telling him how to do it. Can ya tell I'm not a fan of cuttin' the grass? Sorry for the rant...nicely done! |
