Mowin' the lawn
Here's a vignette I made that depicts Barry mowing his tidy little suburban lawn. Yes, he is quite proud of that lawn. He fertilizes it every weekend... The base is 8x16, or twice the size of a standard vignette. I made the ground layered; it goes from stone, to soil, and then to grass. Notice that there is a wake of cut grass behind Barry's lawnmower. I used 73 grass pieces in this vignette. It is inspired by another one of Captain Kit Santi's great ideas. Please review, and thanks for looking!
About this creation

Back angle. Notice the cut patch behind Barry and his Lawn-boy.

Top view. Also another good shot of the cut grass.

Back view. Apparently, Barry hasn't cut his grass for a while, as seen in this picture.

*whistles a tune*

What the neighbor sees.

There's the proud lawn-maintainer with his good ol' boy.

A shot of the vignette without Barry or the Lawn-boy.

I do not miss mowing the lawn; I got an all-rock and a few shrubs landscaping... but anyway, this is a cool depiction.

Great vig! Now if you wanted to go for realism, you'd need to have the guy sneezin' his brains out, toys every three feet, smoke coming out of the mower, and a neighbor leaning on the fence telling him how to do it. Can ya tell I'm not a fan of cuttin' the grass? Sorry for the rant...nicely done!

Barry probably wishes his lawn was emo so it would cut itself at a later age.

This is awesome beyond all! I love the idea (heh heh) and the trail of freshly mowed vegetation behind him... the lawnmower is so cute, just like the white picket fence (maybe next time he can repaint it!)
