June 08: 8880 Supercar (from eBay) with complete new chassis. It is not modified, it is a new one. Without rear axle steering, 4WD, with 6-speed transmission (4 forward gears, 2 backward gears), electric headlights (switch on by moving out), automatic wing doors, automatic engine hood, V8 middle motor and 4 exhaust pipes.
About this creation
A lot of of people don't understand that this car isn't built how the instruction show it. I have taken apart the orginal car and built a new one - not just modified the old one!!!

doors half open

Two backward gears are special, but to the time I built the car I didn't have a "Transmission Driving Ring Extension (32187)" and I couldn't make a transmission with one backward gear without this element. Now I have got this and I can build better transmissions!

Quoting Dan the Man Nice car, man ! I also have this set (found it complete for 10 euros - lucky !) ; and I (heavily) modifed it a while back (I recently rebuilt it back to original) ; loads of pneumatics and extra bits were added; you might want to see if you're interested, though the model doesn't exist anymore, I keep the pages up for all of my MOC's here. my 1/3 lamborghini project might be of interest to you, too :) I like the way you did the wheels and the boot; very interesting - and the new gearbox is quite clever, too ! I saw you're making a 1/7 version of it now... how much bigger do you think that will be ? it's hard to compare with the photos at this point... good luck anyway, I'm sure it'll look great ! keep us posted ! Dan
thanks, I've already seen your 1/3 cala and I can't wait until you'll finish it.

Juan, what the heck? This absolutley rocks! If you don't have time to build a huge car, just modify one! and 2 backwards gears, well, i guess is a bit odd. BUT very cool.
