The Genetics Laboratory quick response assault unit is a must have for any genetic scientist, a lot can be learnt from 20ft five eyed monsters so it is always important to have a way to destroy the terrifying creature when it manages to escape.
Here we have our mech assault unit in a show down with a beast with five eyes. Note the open cockpit to allow for the quickest response time to a incident. (It is recommended that all pilots wear heavy duty armouring).
We can see that the monster has already taken one hostage and is chasing another it also looks like it has eaten a scientist before it broke out of the underground laboratory. What will our mech pilot do?
The pilot launches 1 of 4 of his tactical high explosive missiles, the creature will have no defence against this.
A shocked look of the creature as well as the men around it, He knows death waits.
A frontal view of our mech, we can see the expanding toe structure of the mech so that it can spread its load more easily over uneven terrain. As well as the light weight beamed leg design.
The mech is armed with 4 ion cannons placed on its manoeuvring wings and is also armed with 4 tactical high explosive missiles on the top of the unit. The central pivot point of the mech allows for quick direction changes and the ability to dodge.
A further option available is the flash cannon which replaces two of the ion cannons, This option does increase the weight but gives the unit a greater fire power. Great for shooting tentacles off from monsters.
Here we see a close up of the flash cannon.
With the weapon wings removed the assault mech becomes a fast missile armed races, now you will be the only missile armed racing mech out there, unless your opponent also bought one of our units.
A rear view showing the jump jets increasing the speed of the mech ten fold.
Here we see a picture of what the mech’s chassis really is, I wanted to go for original piece usage and this is always a piece that never gets used.
Makuta Bane should be posting his creation later toady.

Judges...got one thing right here...you did an awesome job. They like bloated Mechs with big guns (to compensate for other things) and lots of tricky slicky stuff. Your entry was very creative and not your same old hoses and McToes'.
Block on Dude!
Too bad the category wasn't monsters, you would have beat everyone! That monster is one of the best I've ever seen. Unfortunately, the category is mech and I afraid you were beaten there. Although my vote doesn't matter, I'm giving the sweep to your opponent.
An awesome little dio, but something about the mech comes up a bit short. It’s got a nice original shape and great color blocking, but it seems just a little awkward…almost like it’s not quite finished or something. Unfortunately, I’m giving the win to your opponent, but a great effort here. Well done.
I like it

VERY nice. I love the the four-eyed monster. ...reminds me of my ex.
Alright Patrick, here we go...For starters, LOVE the monster! Great job all around on the cleanliness of the MOC, the overall composition, color work, and the presentation. I think your weakest part is the Mech itself. While it has some mobility, the legs are a bit awkward (another joint would help, I think), and it doesn't have quite the complexity and build sophistication as Bane's, IMHO. Ya got him beat with the surroundings, but I think he's got ya on the mech. Given that this is the mech category, I'm gonna have to go with Bane. Still, a great overall job!
I'm impressed! Excellent monster, and a great use of parts on your mech. I do love to see that you used the "trike" white and gray piece (or whatever you want to call it). I used it once or twice in a mech myself. Let's see Bane top this.
Congrats on being the first two to post your entries. We were starting to think that people forgot. Now the judges are going to be flooded with entries. Nice background work and Shaddix's ex (Dave, I always wondered what she looked like?) really brings the whole story together. Just like my mech, the legs are the weakest part. but your mech has a certain (to repeat what's already been said) originallity to it that just pops. Good job to both of you and good luck! ~ Chris.
Well, you Definitely get points for originality. My problem with yours, is that the monster takes away a bit from the mech. You look at it, and you think the mech is just a side show, and the monster is where it is at! We will see, but man, I hope I win...
