My custom AT-PT, no offense to anyone, may be the most accurate one on the web. It's in scale with a minifig and has the right color scheme. The window is made from 1x2 clear bricks stacked onto each other, although the window in many pics looks black. The grenade launcher is mounted below the repeating laser guns (which move up and down). Even though it isn't accurate, I made the roof open up to look at the driver and the engine (which isn't in yet). Please tell me if anything is wrong with the accuracy.
The rear view showing the detail I put in the back.
A terrifying sight for rebel troops to see.
Right behind the back of the AT-PT
A view showing the top of the walker.
The roof opened up. If you look EVER so carefully you can see the driver's helmet.
Very nice. I am adding my own AT-PT later today, check back around 5pm EST and they will be up. I don't have any jointed legs like you do so I had to imporvide with rotating peices. That meant that I have to have a white pice holding up the "head" due to balance issues, but other than that I really like mine and I think you will also.
Alright, I'm giving you 5/5 because it is a great start, but as for accuracy, the legs need to be a bit thicker, maybe double wide instead of single, and the legs should also be about 1.5 to 2 times as long as they are now. As for the cockpit, the design is really great and the details are awesome, but it is maybe one brick too tall. Now I realize that you are trying to keep this creation mini-fig scale so perhaps you could increase the size of everything else to give it the illusion of being shorter... A smaller detail that could be improved would be the blasters, I just don't like the joysticks. Also, could we see inside your AT-PT?
So Im the first non-elite commando to review this eh? Well then... Anyway I love how movie accurate this thing looks! However, how come this doesn't have as good of a photo quality as your stuff usually does?
Excellent Work! Im going to make a small clone walker soon and it might look a bit like this but maybe not, anyway back to your AT-PT it looks very accurate and just plain cool, I hope Lego Company sees this and makes it a clone wars battle pack.
