This is my new, biggest mech that I made for one of my best friends on X-Box Live, ILLUS1ON ST1K. His real name is Jinjiro Perez, and he's Filipino like me. His name sounds so much like a hardcore Samurai's name, that I had to add him to the series.
About this creation
At first I was going to have this as an Evil Demon Samurai mech, but I thought it looked cool, so I wanted it to be a hero. I finally made use of my LEGO® Tires!!!!!!!
Jinjiro Perez was one of the few Soul Guardians still in existance.
His job was to eliminate the Demon Warriors using his mighty Soul Scythe
and Scythe Soul Guardian mech when needed. The skull mask he wears is used to strike
fear into the Demon Warriors.
A few years back, when the giant mecha war between the Soul Guardians
and the Demon Warriors broke out, Jinjiro mistook the Dragon Warrior: Phong Chang,
who wanted to assist the Soul Guardians, as a hired ninja working for the Demon Warriors.
When the confused Jinjiro tried to eliminate Phong and his Spirit Ninja, Phong immediately mistook Jinjiro as a Demon Warrior, and nearly killed Jinjiro with his Spirit Ninja's Dragon Katana. Through the cockpit of the Scythe Soul Guardian, Phong saw that Jinjiro's
"Demon Face" was actually a mask which became torn from the fight, and discoverd that Jinjiro was a human and an apprentice Soul Guardian. He put away his blade, and jumped out of his Spirit Ninja to aid his accidentally wounded ally. Jinjiro requested to Phong that his mech was to be brought back along with them to the mecha repair shop, so Phong had to let Jinjiro in rest on the right shoulder of his Spirit Ninja while carrying the Scythe Soul Guardian on the left shoulder. After seeing how strong Phong was in battle, Jinjiro requested to join Phong as an apprentice Dragon Warrior. This meant leaving the Soul Guardians, but he already knew that the Soul Guardians were nearly eliminated from the war, so he had nothing to lose. Phong saw potential in Jinjiro, so he gladly accepted the request. Now Jinjiro has gained the title of: Dragon Warrior, and his Scythe Soul Guardian mech has been tweaked to be powered by fighting spirit, and it's name has been changed too: Spirit Samurai, symbolizing the fact that his mech is powered by fighting spirit, and the fact that he has become a friend and apprentice of Phong Chang: The Dragon Warrior!
(A vig on the battle between Phong's Spirit Ninja and Jinjiro's Spirit Samurai may be created if I get enough pieces.)
