About this creation
After taking a long look at my arsenal of Halo weapons, I realized how un-colorful the folder is. Both of my spikers, my mauler, and my carbine consist of black, grey, or a mixture of both. Fortunately, with the construction of my plasma pistol, rich blues and greens have flooded a once dreary folder.
This MOC consists of four parts, a top half, a lower half, power cables in the middle, and a handle.
Two parallel plasma emitters, they form the plasma bolt and hold it in place until it is released.
The handle is held onto the rest of the gun via three 1x2 plates with single studs on top making it somewhat fragile.
the The grey power cables in the center of the gun. Note the slight amount of greebling in the corner, and the SNOT effect on the side.
The bottom half of the gun. Slightly skinnier that the top half which is three studs wide, the bottom is only two studs thick. (Again, note the SNOT technique used.)
The power meter on the back of the gun, I decided to make this out of Lego instead of using a decal. (Not that I have anything against the use of stickers, it’s just that I have tried to make decals in the past and failed miserably.)
Oh, and did I mention the top flips up?
Just like the one in the game, the top of my plasma pistol flips up to reveal the plasma cells inside.
This build took about 45 minutes, it was just a fun little project that I did while taking a break from homework.
Don’t forget to rate and review, the constructive criticism you give is always appreciated.

Simply awsome! These are the best life size Halo weapons I've seen. I'm not a fan of lego halo, even though I enjoy the game. But these moc's set themselves apart by superior quality and unusual subjects. I would suggest continuing the 'less common' weapons theme with a Spike grenade. After that you might as well try the SMG, it is after all a nifty little gun. :) |

You are really good at full sized LEGO guns! Try a large human gun now, like the assault rifle. |
