First attempt of a mecha after my Lego dark years.
About this creation
This is my first attempt at a mecha of my own design after many years of a Lego dry spell. It's also my first attempt at photographing my models.
This is probably my favorite view of the mecha, since it really shows the silhouette.
It also shows off one of the biggest problems I have with it, and that I've corrected to some degree on my later models. Those massive shoulder pads cover his upper arms and shoulders, and don't move - severely limiting his arm's poseability.
Here I've got the Gla Gla hands, which create a fantastic shape.
I completely agree with the stud covered legs, I wish I had the tiles to cover it.
As for how small they are, that was very intentional. Many mecha have long graceful legs, I wanted something that looks a little more stout. The MOC I'm currently working on, the M-4, should have much longer legs in comparison to the body.
Thanks for the comments, one and all!
Muh.... let's see: I like the top, but i dislike the legs. The legs are way to studly and are too small and short. Anyway, the 'mecanical' feaders looks pretty nice. It's really an eye catcher. The hands looks perfect to me. The head looks pretty original, so 5/5. Keep it bricky!~Joris
