This is one of my favorite classic cars, the Volkswagen 1500 Variant Wagon Squareback. Long name, sweet car! I decided to build one off of a model car I have. I think it turned out okay, but I think it needs some sort of improvement...
About this creation
I tried a new technique to get skinny tailights. Unfortunately this makes the back way too boxy.
Side view. No classic Volkswagen is complete without a surfboard! Okay, to be honest, I won't be doin' any surfing where I live...
Here is the model I based the 4-wide off of. Yeah, the model is way cooler...
The back of both of the cars. The 1500 was unique because the engine was in the rear, hidden under the floor. That way you could store stuff in the back and the front!
I am the proud owner of a 1973 Squareback. I love it because of the "pancake" engine that's under the floor in the back. It's a nice little car, I love Volkswagens. This is a nice model, except for the taillights; use solid red bricks instead.
I like it

this is really cool! I added you to my favorite builders!
That is really cool!! You did a lot with such little area to work with. Great job!! Yes I killed a Camaro, and many more will be killed by reckless teenagers. Thanks for the nice comments and rating. :)
