These are the main characters surrounding the story of the ship Feigned Ignorance, and will appear in my forum fanfiction, Outside the Builders.

Jeffrey Sparrick
I love this guy's stereotypical Firefly-esque captain look.
Jeffrey Sparrick is well-renowned throughout the galaxy for his smuggling activities. He and his ship, Feigned Ignorance, have seen regions of space and races few others have seen. He is cunning, but not ruthless, and knows when to quit. His Achilles heel is uncontrollable; his fame leads many to want him dead. It is rumored that he sometimes routes supplies to Captain Blue Star, and he maintains the story that he once made a delivery of 1,000 Futuron Moon Pies to the Nerds in Space set, though no one believes him.
Likes: Women (not too fast, not too slow), money, action films, Feigned Ignorance, power naps, and spacewalks.
Dislikes: Knife fights, hallucinogens, members of Spyrius, losing crew members, and (MS2):Mars Species 2.
Hostile Engagement
Jeff hates MS2 (Mars Species 2).
B.T. Dramson
B.T. Dramson was named the night his parents had a little too much dreamfruit extract while celebrating his birth. His full name is Big Trucker Dramson. Embarrassed by his name, he requests that everyone simply calls him B.T.
B.T. is Jeffrey Sparrick's heavy-lifter and bodyguard. He typically deals with all package transactions, and always keeps his tazer and .50 caliber pistol handy. He is also the only member of the current Feigned Ignorance crew trained in spacewalking. He "borrowed" a special space suit from a Mars mining team and modified it for his own use.
Likes: Sunglasses, reading long books, memes, collecting pistols, the metal band Wolfpack, and working out.
Dislikes: His name, the fact that he has to shave his head all of the time, and dreamfruit extract.

I'm sure someone has done this before, but I imagined B.T. with metal cuffs on and made this little non-canon scene.

Paul Stoph
Paul Stoph is an honest man, a hard worker/inventor that loves to meet people. His art is in the machinery that he creates, and he has quickly climbed the ladder of the mechanical tech world.
Rumor has it that he has recently been approached by Jeffrey Sparrick with an offer to become his mechanic after an engine explosion killed the previous one. It is also suspected that Jeff approached him for his current employment with M:Tron's industrial division, which deals with heavy industrial materials, including silver, gold, latinum, and diamond.
Likes: Free time, money for projects, the next great challenge, drinking with the guys, and sweaters.
Dislikes: War, getting in the middle of conflicts, dishonest men, and weapon proliferation.
Azaka and Kamidake
Two holo-bots whose programming became self aware when they were stolen by a lone hacker/biotechnology genius.
The hacker, being a complete otaku, named the two Azaka and Kamidake because of the red and blue color their respective armors bore.
The hacker (whose name cannot be mentioned yet) later released them "into the wild" so that their programs could learn and, more importantly, so they could rob banks for him. Their programs learned at an accelerated speed and they decided to work for themselves.
While they were programmed with separate personalities, they are in the midst of aquiring emotions, and have begun to make friends, most notably the crew of the Feigned Ignorance. Their ship, Persocom, is in the middle of development.
Likes: Upgrades, linking with new computer networks, manga, archaic technology.
Dislikes: Discrimination, electro-magnetic pulses, and squirrels.

Hammet Engersol
Hammet Engersol is the outlaw rival of Jeffrey Sparrick. He can be considered the "evil counterpart" to Jeff. He lives the life of the cowboy, but he plays himself up like a businessman. He owns many ships, but does not play the role of captain.
His bodyguards, simply known by their nicknames Ion and Isotope, generate most of the fear that surrounds Hammet.
Likes: His crystal cane, one-sided business negotiations, looking inside his garage.
Dislikes: Jeffrey Sparrick, his skilled-but-annoying pilot, dreaming.
