Futuron Flight Control
The flight control station for the space port area.
About this creation

This tall building contains the workstations of the flight control officers, who contact every vessel that approaches the space port.

The UFO saucer parts on top of a tower was an idea I just wanted to try. While the outside looks acceptable, I fear the interior is ruined by the shape of the saucer top parts, which have an unnecessary *outgrowth* at the inner corner. Due to the chairs, the interior is rather cramped, anyway.

The roof has been designed so it can be removed to play in the flight control office, but it might be a bit fragile as the saucer top parts cannot be fixed very well from above.

As opposed to usual LEGO buildings, which probably have their staircases in the part which is not modelled (behind the back wall), no such excuse can be valid for a tower like this. So, a staircase is leading all the way up between the pylons.

Also, I now finished a background picture with some planet's surface which resembles the original backgrounds more closely. I am currently replacing the background in all pictures of my space stations.
