It's astounding that you've created two different atmospheres with your ingenious lighting. |

Alex, this completely reminds me of the movie The Prestige. Could you please get more Christian Bale in there for me? Thanks, you're a peach. ;) |

Guthrie - Nice job spotting the homage. And, I hate to nitpick, but it's not really a time machine. I never decided upon a use for the machine; I always thought it'd be better left unexplained. |

Hmmmm... I see The Time Machine in the last two second and third sentences, but the first one and the dramatic disposition of the minifigure tell me otherwise... either that or I'm just ignorant. Truly a clever MOC - my favorite part being (for some odd reason) the walls, and the Time Machine. |

I don't remember sending you pictures of my basement but you did a pretty good job of it. You did forget the wall with all the whips and paddles... opps said to much. ~ Chris. |

Must be a user issue then, because my camera ,Canon S2-IS, is at least as good as that Sony. |

Eggplant - I use a Sony DSC-W55 or something. Seems to work fine. |

Say, what type of camera do you use? I have trouble taking darker photos and them not coming out grainy. Wonder if it is a camera or user issue. |

I thought you were going to turn over a new leaf, stop shining lights through holes and all that good stuff. I guess going cold turkey didn't work out, huh? |

Someday, someone will compile a list of the names of the people that have not only changed the way that we build, but also the way that we capture the beauty of the creation that we put out for the world to view. I have money on your name being at the top of that list, Alex. And this MOC just made me feel that I've bet on the right horse. Giddy-up! |

OF COURSE! Total protonic reversal! Crossing the streams would be 'bad', but there is definitely a slim chance we'll survive. |

Topsy - I'm pretty sure this scene would clash with the atmosphere of Heather's dollhouse. "Here's, the kitchen, isn't it lovely? Here's the master bedroom, such fine colors. Here's the basement, where an evil genius dared play God." |

Well, I think I have a new personal fav of yours - this one's terrific, Alex! (LOVE the overhead shots with the chains!) So with all these mad building, lighting, and story-telling skills, when do we get to see some stop-motion lego animation...I mean, it's the next logical step, right? Meanwhile this one's (in his best fashion designer's voice...) just PPHHAAAABULUS! |
