These are some REALLY old MOCs i found pictures of. These are all long gone, but i still thought it was nice to look back at them. The one pictured here is a simple troop transport i made for my soldiers, but then i got a load more, and this just wouldn't fit them. There were two of these in total. The round dish behind the pilot is actually his shield. It clips onto his gun and turns into something that the Gungans carried in the battle of Naboo.
About this creation
This is the top view of one of my best Mocs when i was that age. It was called the CAT, i think it stood for Carrier Assault Tank. This is very simple, but i like the way that it turned out. The engines can rotate fully without hitting the weapon pylons, and the turret is the right size. I seem to remember a curled up battle droid acting as a lame excuse for a gunner...but never mind. It could just about fit 10 troops in as well.
Here you can see the hatch at the back. Those bricks with holes in were supposed to be gas vents for clearing enemy troops. I wouldnt think of that now So i don't know how i managed it back then!
Here, the prison ship. Another simple vehicle but never the less, still quite useful. The door at the back opens up to let those nasty people out.
The inside. There really wasnt room for that many, so it was normally used to transport leaders as opposed to the whole load of baddies, who would then ambush the truck and break their leader out as the speeder made it way back to base. Typically of vehicles that get ambushed a lot, it had no weapons.
This was a speeder i made at a friends, and was so chuffed i took it home to copy it out into my lego so i could keep it! Fast, agile, and likely to have been based on the Naboo starfighter. It also had a AI turret, the small gun was an Ion cannon, the big was just a blaster.
The compartments of the speeder was big enough to hold a few weapons, which the pilot would always use if he got shot down and survived, which he typically would.
