A slightly IMPROVED version of my street racer. The improvements include racing stripes down the side, a redesigned (and much better looking) back end, and I was also able to blend the center stripe with the red pieces around it. That really helped improve the shape of the car a lot. Don't forget to tell me what you think after you take a look. Thanks!
About this creation
A profile shot. I got rid of the wings on the back, which really smoothed out the shape. That was a really good idea, Jonathan!
Those racing stripes are a direct steal from Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s old car.
(Keep it hush-hush!)
A shot of the redesigned back end. It's much smoother, isn't it?
Hey! I was able to keep those long exhaust pipes and dual tail lights. That reminds me, I've put some real tail lights on the charger now.
Here you can see how I built the back end. It's a lot less fragile this way.
Oh, yeah. The front end is built pretty much the same way as the back....
Which brings us to the stripe. It's blended with the shape of the car very nicely now.
A better shot from the back. Here you can see most of the stripe.
It's coming......
Hey, look! No engine! I'm still working on this, and I'll post a new pic as soon as I can design an engine that's not too boring.
That used to be a 1x10 plate there...
But I've replaced it with a 1x8 so the bottom edge of the front end looks a little more round.
This really helped to improve the shape of the front end.
I think looks a little better than on the first version.
My next project is to design a less boring (and cramped) interior, with better seats and MAYBE even doors that open. Sounds like a V.3 to me. It depends if this one gets enough reviews. I said IF IT GETS ENOUGH REVIEWS. Get the picture?

Great work; very menacing and the flip front is brilliant. Good use of SNOT techniques front and rear too; I'm ru.bbish at that! |
