Modified 8284 Tractor
This is my modified 8284 technic tractor, I have added a front end loader.
About this creation

This is my modified 8284 Tractor, as you can see I have added a front end loader, and soon I am going to remake the rear linkage system and add pneumatic rams there as well. If you search MOCpages, or Brickshelf for '8284' or '8284 Tractor', you will find many people have made an elaborate front end loader, but mine is fairly simple. And if you're thinking that I copied someone, no I didn't. pretty much as soon as I finished building the model I went and added the front end loader. Other than that I haven't really changed much. I have also built some very simple attatchments for this tractor, check out my other creation '8284 Attachments'.

This is a close up on the pump and switches for the front end loader. There are 2 pneumatic rams that control the up and down movement of the arms and 1 that controls the roll of the attachment on the end. It is still simple enough though to be able to pull out some air hoses and take off the loader. It can take a fair amount of weight though, before only a hose splits or the pins that hold it on come out. The loader goes up almost onto the cab, and can go down far enough to lift the front wheels off of the ground. To counter balance the weight on the front I made a very large rear linkage weight out of aluminium tin, cement and lego stuck together with silicone(caulk) and rivets.

This is the underside of the tractor with the air hoses that make the loader go up and down going from the switch to the T piece, which then sends the air to the rams.

This is the front end loader where you can see the pneumatic rams. The hitching device on the end (attached to the forks) is the 'LEGOŽ Quick Hitch Design'. This also connects to the bucket.

This is obviously a picture of the tractor unhitching the forks and hitching up the bucket. This is relatively hands-free,in the way of not having to adjust the height and roll of the main arms and quick hitch, although you still have to flick the switches and pump the air.

This is with the bucket attached to the quick hitch. Feel free to copy any of my designs.

Hey Bob. Thanks for the comment you left me. The design for my quick hitch is not the best so before I send it to you I might try to make it stronger. I will also send you the design for the loader and the forks. In the meantime if you still want the design, make sure you have five spare 15 hole beams and two 13 and 11 hole beams also spare. And try to make sure they are all the same colour, mine are black as they suit best.I am also in the process of making a quickhitch to suit the recent 8295 telehandler so that it can take the same implements that I have built for the tractor.
