Mid-sized space superiority fighter demonstrator.
About this creation
This is a Mid-sized space superiority fighter demonstrator. The AP-90 (AP = Advanced Prototype) is an unarmed version used expressly to demonstrate the potential capabilities to the various military organizations. The demonstrations are often via the space racing circuit, where many aerospace companies create prototypes and race them to the glee to of the space race circuit fans and the military. Typically the ships that place well are at the least considered for future development as military vehicles.
The AP-90 is designed for long range, high maneuverability (in both atmosphere and space), and ease of maintenance.
Model Features:
Movable wings
Retractable landing pad
Movable tail section
Cockpit egress
BrickShelf folder.

Odd, I've no idea how this escaped my notice. I really dig this ship. the extended engine pods and the angles used to demo them are astounding. Can I ask, did you find a way to make it sturdy enough for swoosh? |

Hey, you showed me this at BrickCon. I thought the landing gear was just phenomenal. I still can't figure out which part that is that connects to the bottom. |

Afraid I don't know Lisp, or even what that is, but I know a great design when I see one. Very original shape. Please give my page a glance. Sometime I'd love to hear what a Boeing engineer thinks of my models. Thanks for the inspiration. |

A fresh, inventive design, qualities which can often be lacking in spaceship MOCs. Nicely done. |

NICE! Glad to see a new one, Brent! With such a great design and all that functionality, you'll have MOCers arguing like sports fans over light beer about which is better. (Personally, I'll go with the "looks great" side.) |

Very interesting design, I like this a lot. The landing pad and the engine pods are my favorite details. You should make an actual production version with different colors and guns. |
