Yet another one of my building phases. For a long time I was crankin' out 4-wides like there was no tommorrow, then I joined LUGnuts LEGO car club and built up some large scale beasts. But now I think I'm getting joy out of those medium-scale machines. Just check this beauty out! This is a 6-wide racer I designed with inspiration of the Le Mans 24 hour race. I'm really proud of this design so expect even more 6-wides to come!
About this creation
Back corner view. The background is my alternate location for photographing light-colored cars when it's too dark outdoors.
Side view. I got pretty creative with angles on this car, but I made sure that it was as low as possible
Front. I like how the gaps in the fenders create those headlights.
Back. Notice he diffusers and extreme heat-resistant exhausts.
Engine cover removed. I wish the cover was white because the black one looks exactly like the windshield. Kind of decieving if you ask me...
Thanks to Robby D. for discovering that Tiny Turbos tires fit nicely onto these bigger wheels! These are just perfect for 6-wides!
Jeez, guys. Stop fighting. Just because you retorted stupid little insults at each other a few months ago on Dylan's Off-Roader page doesn't mean you have to have a for-life barricade between you, eh? You should make a moc of peace ;P :D
lol @ Firas! anyways again I think it needs a spoiler! besides that don't you think it's ironic that Apple calls me a retard when he can't make the simple phrase "by the way" instead he has 'oh, by the Dylan'! & no doubt when he reads this he's gonna change it & make some other useless remark...
Ok here's a RUBBISH review then... "Oh my God.. this is just a piece of junk... it's nothing.. it's not even LEGO!! I hate it specially those ugly red rims!!! bad overall shape.. all in all doesn't deserve 1 star!!... keep it junky" jk.. lol...
Well.. I think it's my favorite 6 wide ever! it's great how you use pieces at those small scales! you impress me always with your cars.. well done buddy :) and thanks for your new FLAMY!! keep it........... FLAMY >>> peace.. Fofo
Aaawww, dude! That's really sweet! You know I'm thinking about joining LUGnuts? And is this for Fear And Loathing? I love it! And did you know that the spoiler piece like on Tuner X or Adrift Sport (the swoopy piece that supports the 1x4) makes two vents if you connect them with the wheel-arches you used here? And, I'm sorry, Dylan, but I didn't invent those rims. Robby did... But it's the only one for 6-wide, I guess. BTW, did you know I made Red Iron and the Mazda RX7 solely out of TT pieces? But I really, really like this. It's so sleek and swoopy ;) I just object to the nose, though. And what's wrong with your photos? Aren't you using photobooth anymore? Or did you take these at night...? Well, anyway, I love the rims. And the headlights. Congratulations, man! 5/5! Keep it up... Make some more!
